The Role
Drive business growth and expand our market presence in Singapore!
We are looking for a results-oriented Business Development Assistant Manager / Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team and play a key role in acquiring new clients and strengthening relationships with existing accounts. In this role, your core responsibilities will include:
- Identify and target new business opportunities through research, networking, and prospecting.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Achieve revenue and GP targets.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of products/services to new clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- At least 2 years proven experience in logistics sales or business development.
- Knowledge of transportation and warehousing operations freight forwarding (air & sea) is a plus.
- Track record of handling key accounts and securing new business.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Title and salary will be commensurate with experience.
