Our client is a global leader in cable and connectivity, delivering digital solutions and telecom products that power industries from data centres to renewable energy.

To drive their next phase of growth in the data centre market, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager — Data Centre.

Job overview

Product Development

Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and technologies in the data centre market.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our data centre product portfolio, including cabling & connectivity solutions.
Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to develop new products and solutions tailored to the data centre market.
Keep current with industry standards and regulations for data centre infrastructure.

Strategy

Develop and implement a comprehensive data centre strategy aligned with corporate business objectives.
Identify and pursue new market opportunities within the data centre segment.
Partner with the sales team to build strong relationships with key customers, industry partners, and consultants.
Represent the organisation at industry events and conferences.

Sales Support

Provide technical expertise to help the sales team close data centre opportunities.
Create and deliver technical presentations and training for internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare technical documentation such as proposals, presentations, and white papers.
Carry out site visits and technical assessments to support customer projects.

Technical Expertise

Serve as the internal expert on data centre technologies and best practices.
Offer technical guidance and troubleshooting support to customers and internal teams.
Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging technologies, including AI, edge computing, and sustainability.
