Job Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing the company's business in both China and ASEAN markets. The role focuses on finding new business opportunities, building partnerships, and improving or spinning off existing business units to increase revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in China and ASEAN to expand market presence and increase revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and clients to support collaboration and business growth
- Collaborate closely with China partners to source products, coordinate joint projects, and enhance supply chain effectiveness
- Propose and implement ideas to improve existing business operations and increase profitability
- Explore and develop opportunities to spin off new business opportunities or brands to diversify company offerings
- Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth areas
- Prepare business proposals and revenue forecasts to support sales strategies and financial planning
- Achieve assigned sales and growth targets by executing effective business development strategies
- Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and business events to strengthen brand presence and secure partnerships
