Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, marine, and construction sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with property managers, main contractors, facility managers, and corporate clients.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and service presentations to prospective clients.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue growth objectives.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on competitors, pricing strategies, and industry trends.
Tender Management
- Source, evaluate, and participate in relevant government and private tenders (e.g., GeBIZ, main contractor tenders).
- Prepare and compile complete tender submissions including pricing, supporting documents, compliance requirements, and technical proposals.
- Coordinate with operations and finance teams for costing and service feasibility.
- Ensure all tender documents meet regulatory and submission deadlines.
- Negotiate contract terms upon award and manage contract finalisation process.
Account & Contract Management
- Oversee onboarding of newly secured clients to ensure smooth service implementation.
- Monitor contract renewals and manage long-term client relationships.
- Address key account issues and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular sales pipeline, forecast, and tender status reports to management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales.
- Proven experience handling government or private tender submissions is required.
- Experience in waste management, environmental services, logistics, or construction industry is an advantage.
- Strong costing, negotiation, and contract management skills.
- Independent, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight submission deadlines.
- Familiar with Singapore regulatory environment (NEA knowledge is a plus).
- Possess own transport is preferred.
