Reporting into Director, Business Development
We're seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead global go-to-market initiatives for our Enterprise Business Unit's target market. This role is pivotal in shaping market strategy, developing compelling value propositions, and enabling successful offering launches. You'll collaborate across functions and with external partners to drive growth and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Market Research & Value Understanding
. Analyze customer personas (End Users, SIs, Contractors, Distributors) and market segments.
. Conduct voice-of-customer research and competitive analysis.
. Provide actionable insights to inform strategy.
Strategy Formulation
. Support segmentation strategies with data-driven insights.
. Identify product/service gaps and advocate for solutions.
. Contribute to value proposition development.
Marketing Strategy & Value Design
. Own and evangelize the value proposition across stakeholders.
. Develop enablement tools (messaging, content, collateral).
. Position offerings based on market/regional dynamics.
Go-to-Market Execution
. Execute launch plans and collaborate on promotional campaigns.
. Support channel partners with tailored messaging and tools.
. Optimize channel mix and explore new routes to market.
Offering Lifecycle Management
. Align strategy across Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and more.
. Measure effectiveness of go-to-market efforts.
. Resolve market execution challenges and underperformance.
Requirements:
. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or Marketing required
. Minimum 5 years experience
. Knowledge and understanding of Enterprise and Data Center Infrastructure design concepts and structure cabling standards preferred
. Good written and verbal communication skills
. 25% travel within Asia Pacific region
