We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to join a shipping company in Singapore. The role focuses on expanding client base, driving revenue growth, and strengthening relationships within the maritime and shipping industry across the Singapore region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the ship agency sector in Singapore.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, vessel owners, port authorities, and other key stakeholders.
- Lead proposals, negotiations, and contracts to secure new accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform business strategy.
- Collaborate with operations and commercial teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the company.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of business development or sales experience in ship agency, maritime, or logistics sectors.
- Strong network and understanding of the Singapore maritime market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident only.
