Business Development Manager – APAC
About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth in Malaysia as part of our APAC expansion. This role will focus on driving revenue through AI (Conversational AI, Voice Agents, Physical AI)while maintaining and expanding real-time engagement (RTC) business.
You will play a key role in building the local ecosystem through partners, ISVs, and strategic advisors, while executing event-led GTM strategies such as meetups, workshops, and founder roundtables.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth across AI (voice agents, AI survey, physical AI) and RTC solutions
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in key industries
- Build and manage partnerships with ISVs, resellers, and strategic advisors
- Execute event-led GTM (meetups, workshops, roundtables) to generate pipeline
- Engage customers with tailored solutions, demos, and pilots
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and SA teams
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships
- Strong network in Malaysia across:
- Enterprises (BFSI, telco, contact centers, e-commerce)
- Startup / AI ecosystem
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- AI / SaaS / Cloud / CPaaS / RTC solutions
- Proven track record of closing deals and driving revenue growth
- Strong understanding of partner-driven GTM models
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
