Role Purpose
The
Business Development Management- Expert is responsible for driving revenue growth, client expansion, and long‑term value creation for Chain IQ.
The role focuses on creating new business opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and positioning Chain IQ's indirect procurement services as a strategic, value‑adding solution for clients.
This role works closely with Client Engagement, Sourcing, Consulting, and Leadership teams to develop business cases, support pipeline growth, and convert opportunities into sustainable revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Growth
- Identify, develop and drive new business opportunities with prospective and existing clients
- Contribute to the end-to-end business lifecycle, including opportunity identification, solution shaping and proposal support
- Support the creation of business case validations (BCVs) that clearly articulate client value, ROI and growth potential
- Drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across Chain IQ's service offerings
- Support achievement of regional revenue and growth
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders (including C‑suite)
- Act as a commercial point of contact during pre‑sales and opportunity development phases
- Collaborate closely with Client Engagement Managers to ensure a seamless transition from opportunity development to delivery
- Represent Chain IQ professionally in client meetings, presentations, and commercial discussions
Commercial & Proposal Support
- Develop and contribute to client proposals, pitches, and presentations aligned with CIQ standards
- Support pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and contract preparation in collaboration with senior stakeholders
- Ensure all commercial activities align with Chain IQ's governance, compliance, and confidentiality requirements
Market & Internal Collaboration
- Monitor market trends, client needs, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate across regions and functions to leverage global expertise and best practices
- Share knowledge and insights to continuously improve CIQ's go‑to‑market approach
- Support internal initiatives related to sales strategy, client targeting, and pipeline visibility
Experience
- Proven experience in business development, client engagement, consulting, or commercial roles
- 7+ year Experience working in professional services, procurement, consulting, or B2B environments
- Demonstrated success in supporting or driving revenue growth and client expansion
- Experience working across regions and with diverse stakeholder groups

Education & Language
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Procurement, or a related field
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage
