Job Description

We are partnering with a globally recognised, independent insurance services and loss adjusting firm to recruit a Business Development Manager for the Asia region, based in Singapore. With a presence in over 40 countries and close to a century of heritage, this firm is a market leader in claims management, third-party administration (TPA), loss adjusting, and risk mitigation services.

This is a commercially focused, individual contributor role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of insurance technical knowledge and business growth. You will report into the Regional Director for Asia and the Chief Commercial Officer, working at the heart of the firm's expansion strategy across the region.

What You Will Do

Identify and pursue new business opportunities claims programs, TPA nominations, and client accounts across Asia

Analyse market trends, claims data, and client needs to develop targeted growth strategies and sector-specific recommendations

Build and manage relationships with insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and corporate clients to expand the firm's regional footprint

Champion CRM adoption within the region, ensuring full capture of pipeline activity and proactive management of nomination renewals

Drive client stewardship preparing stewardship reports, coordinating service delivery, and ensuring client expectations are met across country operations

Assist in the setup and ongoing management of new claims programs, ensuring systems, processes, and compliance requirements are in place

Deliver training and thought-leadership presentations to brokers and clients on the firm's capabilities

Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies in collaboration with the global commercial team

What We Are Looking For

Approximately 10+ years experience in business development, account management, or commercial roles within the insurance or claims services industry

Strong understanding of claims management, TPA services, loss adjusting, or insurance broking ideally with exposure to program and nomination-based business

Proven track record of winning new business and managing strategic client relationships

Proficiency with CRM systems and strong analytical skills comfortable working with claims data and market intelligence

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English

Self-starter with the ability to work independently across multiple markets and stakeholder groups

Experience in the Asia insurance market is a strong advantage; regional travel will be required
