Job Description

Area of Responsibilities:

As an Account Manager, you will be a driving force in expanding our reach and growing revenue across our cutting-edge sustainable IT Infrastructure solutions portfolio, including Green Data Centers, Cloud Solutions, and Managed Services. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate their journey towards more efficient, cost-effective and eco-friendly IT operations. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will manage the end-to-end sales process for a portfolio that aligns with industry trends and environmental best practices, working primarily within the BFSI and selected high-growth sectors

The Accounts Manager is responsible for:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and market growth.

Establish goals and monitor progress toward achieving sales targets.

Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.

Collaborate with the Strategic Business Director to align sales initiatives with the company's overall business goals.

To explore strategic partnership and collaboration with potential partners or companies within MY and outside of the MY region.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Lead the identification and acquisition of new clients, ensuring a strong sales pipeline.

Negotiate contracts, closing deals that align with Basis Bay's business and financial objectives.

Represent Basis Bay at industry events and conferences to promote brand awareness and build client networks.

Collaboration & Reporting:

Work closely with the marketing team to drive lead generation efforts and create marketing materials that support sales goals.

Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and forecasts to the executive team.

Collaborate with the operations and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery for new clients.

Continuous Improvements & Learnings:

Stay at the forefront of industry trends, especially in green IT and sustainable tech practices, sharing insights with the team and adapting your approach to reflect market shifts.

Sales Expertise:

Strong understanding of the IT infrastructure landscape, including cloud services, data centers, and sustainable tech.

Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics, with a focus on data-driven selling and performance tracking.

Client Centric Communication:

Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, capable of building rapport with clients and delivering clear, impactful presentations.

Ability to translate technical information into business value for clients, ensuring solution alignment with their needs.

Required Qualifications / Education Level:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business or administration, IT, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Professional certifications in IT infrastructure, sustainability, or sales (e.g., CISSP, PMP, or Green IT certifications) are an advantage.

Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years of related Business Development experience. Experience in industries like BFSI that value green IT and sustainability.

Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets in Singapore and/or SEA or similar markets, with experience in complex solution selling highly preferred.

Good English speaking and writing skill.
