Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets within the modern trade segment.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients within modern trade channels including supermarkets, hypermarkets, and retail chains.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the modern trade sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to the management team.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, pricing agreements, and terms with modern trade partners.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Diploma's in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 2 years in a sales role within the food industry, specifically in modern trade channels.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in dealing with supermarkets, hypermarkets, and retail chains.
  • Strong on negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to drive strategic decisions.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
