This position report to the sales manager. To Identify and pursue new business opportunities across freight forwarding, warehousing, and fulfillment services. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and referrals. Conduct regular business reviews to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Individual to be involved in:
1. Business Growth & Client Acquisition.
2. Solution Design & Proposal. Development
3. Client Relationship Management.
4. Market Intelligence & Strategy.
Pricing & Costing Ability to develop competitive pricing models and cost structures. Understanding of freight rate mechanisms (e.g., spot vs contract rates, surcharges)
Logistics & Supply Chain Knowledge, Strong understanding of freight forwarding (air, sea, land), warehousing, and last-mile delivery. Familiarity with Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, DDP) and trade compliance requirements. Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and documentation.
Problem Solving, Ability to identify logistics challenges and propose practical, cost-effective solutions. Adaptability & Resilience, Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic logistics environment. Able to respond quickly to market changes and operational disruptions. Results-Driven, Goal-oriented with a strong focus on achieving KPIs and revenue targets.
