Key Responsibilities
. Assist in acquiring new customers within the freight forwarding and logistics industry through proactive outbound sales calls, emails, and follow-ups.
. Support the development and maintenance of strong relationships with existing customers.
. Identify potential sales opportunities and assist in building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
. Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to freight services, rates, and shipment status.
. Coordinate closely with operations, customer service, and documentation teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
. Prepare quotations, freight rates, and basic sales proposals in accordance with customer requirements.
. Assist in negotiating freight rates and commercial terms with customers under supervision.
. Conduct basic market research on customers, trade lanes, and competitor activities.
. Support tender, RFQ, and quotation submissions when required.
. Follow up on customer feedback and assist in resolving service-related issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
. Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and reports in internal systems.
. Provide regular updates on sales activities and customer developments to management.
