Business Development Executive (Electrical Switchgear)

Our client, a trusted name in the electrical contracting and supply industry, known for delivering high-quality electrical solutions to commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. They are expanding our presence and seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to help drive our growth and build long-lasting partnerships within the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Consultants, Main Contractors, and Electrical Contractors
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads and convert them into new business
• Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals
• Meet and exceed sales targets and growth objectives
• Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management

Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in a hunter capacity
• Prior experience in the electrical, mechanical, construction, or related industries is highly preferred
• A strong professional network within the consultant and contractor ecosystem
• Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and eager to advance professionally
• Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is a plus, but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
