Job Purpose
- Support the growth and expansion of the company's mechanical and engineering consultancy services by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to strategic business development initiatives under the direction of the Business Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver professional proposals, expressions of interest (EOIs), presentations, and bids in coordination with technical teams.
- Assist the Business Development Manager in implementing business development strategies and achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, project management, and commercial teams to ensure client requirements are clearly understood and met.
- Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of leads, prospects, and opportunities using internal tracking tools.
- Monitor client satisfaction and support account management to encourage repeat business.
- Prepare regular business development reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management review.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications in sales, marketing, or business development will be an advantage.
Required Experience
- Minimum 1- 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within an engineering, mechanical, consultancy, construction, or technical services environment. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Experience working in a consultancy or professional services firm is highly preferred.
