About the Role
We are looking for a driven and resourceful Business Development Executive to support the expansion of our car-sharing network and strategic partnerships. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in securing new sites, growing our vehicle fleet, and driving collaborations that support user growth and engagement.
This role is highly cross-functional and hands-on, requiring strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Site Acquisition & Network Expansion
- Identify, engage, and secure new car-sharing locations with landlords, property owners, and asset managers
- Manage end-to-end discussions with partners, including negotiations, commercial terms, approvals, and contract finalisation
- Coordinate internally with operations, legal, finance, and technical teams to ensure successful site launches
- Maintain relationships with landlords and partners to support long-term collaboration and network growth
Fleet Acquisition & Vendor Management
- Source and negotiate vehicle rental or leasing agreements with fleet partners and leasing companies
- Support fleet expansion initiatives by managing commercial discussions, pricing, contract terms, and onboarding processes
- Coordinate operational matters including payment processing, documentation, vehicle information collection, and handovers to internal departments
- Work closely with operations and finance teams to ensure smooth execution and deployment of vehicles
Partnerships & Growth Campaigns
- Identify and develop partnerships with complementary brands and businesses to support user acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Coordinate marketing collaborations, promotional campaigns, and partnership activations
- Manage partnership discussions from proposal through execution and post-campaign follow-up
- Track partnership performance and identify opportunities for further collaboration
General
- Prepare proposals, presentations, commercial summaries, and partnership materials
- Work closely with the Marketing Department to drive successful partnership campaigns
- Maintain accurate records of negotiations, contracts, and partner communications
- Support the Business Development Manager on strategic initiatives and special projects as required
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing or related disciplines
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, account management, sales, or a related field
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operationally intensive environment
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Class 3 license
