We are seeking a Business Development Executive to support sales and business growth initiatives within the IT solutions sector. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, engaging clients, preparing proposals, and building long-term relationships while delivering technology solutions that address business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT solutions sector
- Conduct outreach activities (e.g. calls, emails, networking) to connect with prospective clients and arrange meetings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to support long-term collaboration
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable IT solutions, including preparing quotations and delivering presentations or product demonstrations
- Negotiate contract terms and manage the sales process through to successful closure
- Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets through proactive engagement
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to support solution delivery
- Provide consultative support to help clients improve their IT infrastructure and operations
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g. technical support, product teams) to ensure client needs are met
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
Requirements
- Interest in IT solutions, cloud services, cybersecurity, or system integration
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships and engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Positive and proactive approach to achieving goals
- Ability to present information clearly and professionally
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- Candidates with relevant internship or work experience in IT sales or business solutions are welcome to apply
