The Business Development Director leads the strategic growth and sustainability of the Singapore Cycling Federation through partnerships, sponsorships, and fundraising. This role is pivotal in advancing SCF's Go for Gold mission by strengthening relationships with corporate, government, and community stakeholders and creating value-driven collaborations that support athlete development, community outreach, and cycling infrastructure.
Working under the strategic guidance of the Vice President (Partnerships) and the Board, the Director will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including High Performance, Road Safety, Facilities Operations, and Communications to align commercial objectives with SCF's sporting and community priorities.
1.Strategic Partnership and Sponsorship Development
Develop and execute a partnership strategy aligned with SCF's Go for Gold objectives.
Identify, cultivate, and secure partnerships and sponsorships that deliver mutual value.
Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure excellence in sponsor servicing and activation.
Represent SCF in high-level stakeholder engagements and events.
2.Fundraising & Revenue Growth
Lead the planning and execution of sponsorship, fundraising, and grant strategies.
Diversify revenue streams through corporate, philanthropic, and institutional collaborations.
Ensure transparent financial management and performance reporting for partnerships.
3.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams to design integrated partnership opportunities across SCF programs.
Partner with High Performance, Road Safety, and Facilities teams to deliver impactful initiatives.
Work with Communications and Marketing to enhance sponsor visibility and storytelling.
4. Governance, Reporting and Representation
Work with and Report regularly to the VP (Partnerships) and the Board on pipeline, partnership performance, and impact.
Contribute to SCF's strategic planning, policy development, and stakeholder engagement.
Uphold SCF's values of excellence, integrity, and collaboration in all activities.
