Position Summary:
As the Business Development Director, you will play a key leadership role in expanding our footprint across the financial services sector. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships at the executive level, and driving revenue growth through the sale of high-value consulting services and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to target key financial services clients (e.g., insurance firms, wealth managers, fintechs).
- Identify, pursue, and close consulting opportunities in areas such as strategy, digital transformation, regulatory compliance, risk management, and data/analytics.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, including proposal development, pricing, contract negotiations, and handover to delivery teams.
- Partner with internal consulting teams to craft customized solutions tailored to client needs.
- Track market trends, client priorities, and competitive landscape to inform go-to-market strategies.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, forums, and client events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in business development or client-facing roles within management consulting, professional services, or financial services.
- Deep understanding of the financial services industry and its regulatory, operational, and digital challenges.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a B2B consultative selling environment.
- Strong network of executive-level contacts within financial institutions is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
