Business Development Director

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of APAC business development strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
• Identify and develop strategic business opportunities with multinational corporations, regional enterprises and key industry stakeholders.
• Establish and manage senior-level relationships with clients, partners and business networks across APAC.
• Drive regional market expansion initiatives through new customer acquisition, partnerships and commercial collaborations.
• Lead complex business negotiations, including commercial agreements, strategic partnerships and long-term engagements.
• Develop regional business plans, revenue forecasts and growth strategies.
• Analyse market trends, customer requirements and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on market expansion and commercial opportunities.
• Oversee key account development and ensure successful management of major client relationships.
• Mentor and guide business development team members to improve commercial performance.
• Represent the company in regional conferences, business forums and industry networking events.
• Monitor business performance and provide regular updates on regional growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Economics or related disciplines.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in business development, commercial management or strategic partnerships.
• Significant experience managing APAC regional markets and enterprise-level clients.
• Proven track record in developing new markets and achieving revenue growth.
• Strong experience in contract negotiation and strategic partnership development.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate independently and manage regional business initiatives.
