Our company, Testor Singapore Pte Ltd (Parent company website: www.tongtech.com) has just established an overseas subsidiary in Singapore and is looking for a Business development cum Sales Manager to join us as part of our global business execution team.
We are searching for a customer-oriented, professional sales manager to join our company. The sales manager's responsibilities include designing the solutions, demo the products, networking with clients, expanding sales territories, and increasing your knowledge of technical products (AI, middleware, IoT, big data). You should be able to deliver excellent customer support and make appropriate suggestions for improvement.
Enterprise, Telecom, IT, BSS/OSS pre-sales, come up with technical presentations and documentation to enterprise, government customers in domestic and regional market.
Be responsible for leading and cultivating Industry Channel business development in conjunction with the company's industry business unit leaders, to meet and exceed set sales quotas while adhering to the company's sales rules of engagement, providing weekly reports of pipeline and forecast.
Understand and analyze customers requirements to design solutions that meet customers needs.
Develop proposals, business case analysis, statement of work, and other relevant documents during tendering.
Writing reports and liaising with the production team regarding issues, foreseeable problems, and effective solutions.
Simplifying technical terms during product demonstrations and post-sales customer support.
Attending and participating in sales meetings, product seminars, and exhibition shows.
Updating orders and sales, negotiating the best contract terms, signing the contract, and being responsible for sales collection.
Maintaining strong professional relationships with existing clients and meeting with new clients to expand sales territories.
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications/Computer Science/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
At least 3-5 years of working experience in the IT enterprise, government or telecom industry or equivalent.
Experience in working closely with sales, marketing, client services, development, executive management, and product management to meet the needs of the business.
Knowledge of Government or mission critical system and cloud-based solutions design for vertical industries, e.g. government sector, enterprise, finance, hotel and resorts, mining, chemical industry, etc.
Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational, research, and multitasking abilities.
Be willing to travel to other countries for technical support during tendering in the South-East Asia region.
An ability to converse, read and write in Mandarin is advantageous.
The role is required someone with pre-sales background and general knowledge in the information technologies (IT) and telecom domains as well as experience in software application solution. In this role, you are required travel to support the pre-sales works and to carry out the essential duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Provide presale support by analysing and recommending solutions to meet customer's needs.
Support the sales/business development team to provide response to customers on all queries and issues related to company's products, solutions and services.
Work with the internal team to organize trade/exhibition event and prepare the presentation/demo materials for the event.
Perform analysis and feasibility studies and recommend solutions to meet customer application needs.
Conduct demonstration, product training and presentation to customers.
Work closely with sales/business development team to maintain existing customers relationship and develop new customers domain.
Using product/solution knowledge to demonstrate to potential customers the usefulness of our company product's portfolios and ability to highlight the differentiations with others.
Coordinate and establish cohesive relationship with third party, i.e. system integrator, vendors communities tec.
3-5 years business development and sales working experience in the IT/Telecom, government or vertical industry.
Self-motivated with positive attitude towards solving problems and willing to learn regardless of technologies domains.
Technical experience with cloud-based solutions, network architecture, databases, and programming are a plus.
Good communication skill and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Knowledge in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence algorithm, data analytic and IoT Knowledge will be added advantage.
Good oral and written communication skills, product demonstration and presentation skills as well as customer service skills are required.
Good interpersonal skill and an excellent team player. Able to deal with stress and ambiguous working environment.
