Job Description

About The Role:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Development Associate to provide operational and execution support to the Business Development team in Singapore. This role is designed to strengthen internal coordination, improve workflow discipline, and enable senior business development professionals to focus on strategic relationships and revenue-generating activities.

The position is primarily non-client-facing and will act as a key internal coordination and execution support function across business development operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development Support & Coordination

  • Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the Business Development team.
  • Manage calendars, meeting schedules, travel arrangements, and expense coordination.
  • Track action items, deadlines, and follow-ups across multiple workstreams.
  • Ensure timely execution of tasks and improve responsiveness across BD activities.
  • Support smooth coordination between internal stakeholders and external engagements.

CRM & Data Management

  • Maintain and update CRM systems (HubSpot or similar platforms).
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of business development data.
  • Manage contact databases, trackers, pipelines, and reporting sheets.
  • Support visibility and reporting of BD activities through organised data management.

Internal Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with marketing, research, operations, and data teams to support BD initiatives.
  • Translate business development requirements into actionable internal tasks.
  • Coordinate timely delivery of presentations, proposals, campaigns, and supporting materials.
  • Improve workflow efficiency and reduce operational friction between teams.

Research & Market Support

  • Conduct basic market and company research to support business development initiatives.
  • Assist in gathering and organising information relevant to expert identification and onboarding processes.
  • Support initial outreach coordination and administrative follow-through under supervision.
  • Work collaboratively with internal research and data teams when required.

Event & Ecosystem Coordination

  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences, and industry events.
  • Support registrations, scheduling, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Attend selected meetings/events for note-taking and coordination support when required.
  • Assist in engagement with professional and industry bodies including arbitral institutions, law societies, and industry associations.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in coordination, operations, business support, or administrative roles.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools such as HubSpot.
  • Proactive, dependable, and execution-focused mindset.
  • Prior exposure to professional services, consulting, legal, or corporate environments is an advantage.
