Job Title: Business Development Assistant Manager

Why this role 

We're looking for someone who can take strong ownership of revenue and strategic accounts, while also acting as a force multiplier in our commercial efforts. This role sits between individual contribution and broader commercial leadership. You will be directly responsible for driving revenue growth in one of the most promising segments of healthcare: technology enabled rehabilitation and active ageing. Beyond closing deals, you will help shape how we approach key customers, partnerships, and go to market execution as the business scales.

About the role 

You will own the end‑to‑end sales cycle for key accounts, while also contributing to the structuring and scaling of our commercial operations. This role requires strong commercial judgment, the ability to navigate complex healthcare organisations, and comfort engaging senior clinical and administrative stakeholders. You will act as a trusted partner to customers and an internal reference point for deal strategy and market insights. This is a hands‑on role requiring on‑the‑ground activity, mature relationship management, and a mindset oriented toward long‑term growth rather than transactional sales. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own and drive the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and closing. 
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across hospitals, rehabilitation centres, and community care providers. 
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets. 
  • Support and progressively take ownership of commercial engagement with an established distributor network across the region, aligned with company priorities. 
  • Engage and influence multiple stakeholders (clinicians, department heads, procurement teams, senior management) 
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to clinical and commercial audiences. 
  • Represent Articares at conferences, trade shows, and industry events, both locally and internationally. 
  • Collaborate with clinical, product, and marketing teams to refine go-to-market strategy. 
  • Ensure a high standard of customer experience from initial engagement through to post-sale relationship management. 

Requirements 

  • 4+ years in B2B sales, business development or commercial roles (healthcare/medtech preferred). 
  • Motivated, out-of-the-box thinking 
  • High proactiveness, persistence, and drive to achieve performance goals 
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment 
  • Willing to travel locally and internationally as needed 
  • Singaporean/Permanent Resident. 

Note: we welcome clinicians looking to transition into commercial roles. Candidates with occupational therapy, physiotherapy & rehabilitation technology experience will be advantageous and will be considered even without prior sales experience.
