Introduction:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Managers (APAC) - Full-time (REMOTE / Residential) to join our team. The individual will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and build customer base within the Aerospace and Medical industries.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in generating new leads, building relationships, and closing high-value deals in these highly regulated and specialized sectors across APAC region (more specific for Singapore and Japan).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Aviation and Medical industries, targeting key decision-makers at OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, service providers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with prospects and clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and requirements.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand market share and exceed sales targets for both Aviation and Medical components. Ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth. Stay informed about regulatory changes, new technologies, and market shifts.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with product development, marketing, operations, and engineering teams to tailor solutions and offerings that meet the unique demands of each customer.
- Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Track and report sales progress, including lead conversion rates, sales pipeline status, and revenue forecasts. Provide regular updates to leadership on progress toward targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven 10 plus years of experience in business development or sales within the Aviation or Medical components or other Components Manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of the unique challenges and regulations in both sectors (Aviation and Medical components).
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business, with a solid track record of closing complex deals and managing long sales cycles.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with senior decision-makers effectively.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify solutions that meet client needs.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools (Salesforce or similar).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Existing relationships or network within the Aviation or Medical components sectors.
- Experience in both B2B and B2G sales environments.
- Knowledge of export compliance and international sales, especially in regulated industries like aviation and medical devices.
