Business Development and Alliance Manager

Role Overview:

The incumbent will serve as the Business Development and Alliance Manager, tasked with driving revenue growth for Red Hat. This position necessitates proactive engagement in the development, expansion, and acceleration of the Red Hat business within the South East Asia and Korea territories, while also acting as a central point of contact for the broader APAC region. A core requirement is the ability to clearly articulate the unique value proposition and product positioning of Red Hat offerings to key sales and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

In close collaboration with Red Hat's Partner Account Manager, the responsibilities include:

Achieving an increase in revenue across South East Asia and Korea, with a specific focus on meeting the Annualized Red Hat Bookings target. Growth will be secured through strict adherence to the strategic objectives of the partnership.

Developing and implementing new go-to-market sales initiatives and programs with a specific focus on:

Virtualisation

Artificial Intelligence

Executing existing go-to-market sales initiatives, including:

Ensuring the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating system is positioned as the preferred choice within infrastructure sales and renewals teams.

Serving as the primary internal representative for all Red Hat business matters within APAC.

Providing reactive support to APAC countries outside of the South East Asia and Korea focus areas.

Coordinating and leading the development of collaboratively created solutions.

Scheduling and facilitating quarterly business reviews with identified senior Red Hat leadership for the South East Asia and Korea Region, including:

Delivering a comprehensive quarterly report detailing activities and performance against agreed-upon initiatives, including opportunity tracking, revenue performance, sales initiative status, and internal communication effectiveness.

Scheduling and facilitating an annual review with identified senior Red Hat leaders for the entire APAC region.

Presenting a monthly report to designated alliance stakeholders on go-to-market initiatives, encompassing associated opportunities and activities.

Conducting bi-weekly reviews of all large opportunities with the Red Hat team, ensuring alignment on all planned activities within the South East Asia and Korea Region.
