Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development & Account Manager to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, acquiring new clients, and expanding our project portfolio.
The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with a strong hunter mindset, passionate about building relationships, generating leads, and converting opportunities into successful projects.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Singapore and regional markets.
- Generate new sales leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, LinkedIn, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Research potential clients and identify upcoming projects and tenders.
- Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and industries.
Sales & Client Acquisition
- Conduct client meetings to understand business requirements.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and solution proposals.
- Work with internal teams to prepare quotations and tender submissions.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close sales opportunities.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Account Management
- Build long-term relationships with existing customers.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resolve customer concerns by coordinating with project and operations teams.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Gather market intelligence on upcoming projects, data centres, commercial developments, and infrastructure opportunities.
- Recommend new service offerings based on market demand.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, and Finance teams.
- Coordinate project handovers after successful sales.
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to project execution.
Sales Report
- Maintain CRM records and update sales activities.
- Prepare weekly sales pipeline reports.
- Forecast monthly and quarterly sales revenue.
- Track opportunities from lead generation through project award.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related discipline.
- 3-8 years of B2B sales or business development experience.
