Job Description

Most businesses approach energy procurement reactively. AECO Energy is changing that.

We're looking for a commercially minded professional to join our team and help businesses take a smarter, more structured approach to managing their energy - reducing costs, improving risk management, and gaining long-term clarity.

This is a hybrid role across business development and account management. You'll build your own portfolio of clients and work with them over time, supported by AECO Energy's established market access, proven tools, and experienced team.

The Role

  • Engage with SMEs and corporate clients to understand their current energy position
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost, risk, and efficiency
  • Build and manage your own portfolio of clients
  • Guide customers through procurement decisions and ongoing energy management
  • Maintain long-term relationships and deliver continuous value

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and engaging with business owners and decision-makers
  • A proactive, self-driven approach to building a client base
  • Genuine interest in long-term relationship management
  • Ideally, you'll bring an existing network of SME or corporate contacts that you could leverage from day one

Experience in energy is beneficial, but not essential - we provide full training.
