Business Control Senior Specialist

YOUR ROLE

A proactive and experienced Business Control Senior Specialist responsible for A&O Budget & Forecast preparation, day-to-day business performance monitoring as well as variance analysis for overheads.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO

• Lead monthly business analysis, regular financial dashboards and management reports.
• Work closely with business leaders to provide analytical support and financial guidance.
• Analyse business unit performance, profitability, and cost efficiency.
• Participate the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and strategic plans.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve business efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor key control points to prevent financial or operational risks.
• Lead business case for new client onboarding.
• Support other ad hoc activities requested by management

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Essential:

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, business analysis or economics
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in business analysis and business control in an MNC.
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI and data analysis
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; Business acumen and ability to link financial data with operations

Desirable:

• Master degree and/or CPA.
• Logistics industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of CargeWise, JDE and OneStream
• Resourceful, detail-oriented, and results-driven with excellent organizational and time-management skills
