We are seeking an experienced Business Consultant with deep domain expertise in the Securities sector to support architecture and applications assessment for a local Securities company (operations in both Hong Kong and Singapore).
About the Role
The project involves a comprehensive review of current applications and system / data architectures, prioritized transformation roadmap (including quick wins), and a feasibility study for a Regional Development Center (RDC). The consultant will act as a key domain advisor, bridging business requirements (brokerage, trading platform, compliance in HK/SG) with technology architecture and operating model decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design To-Be Data Architecture supporting digitalization, AI use cases, golden source customer data, and balanced regional vs. local allocation.
- Perform gap analysis and build solid business cases with budgets aligned to business drivers.
- Propose IT resource plan (key roles, skills, headcount) aligned to target competencies and roadmap.
- Conduct RDC Feasibility Study (location options, build/buy/operate model, requirements on HK/SG IT, setup proposal).
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience in financial services consulting or in-house transformation roles, focused on Securities, Brokerage, Trading Systems, etc.
- Proven track record leading or supporting application/data architecture assessments, enterprise architecture design, Target Operating Model definition in banking/securities institutions in Asia.
- Strong understanding of HK and Singapore regulatory environments (SFC, MAS).
- Experience with customer data management, golden source initiatives, data governance, and integration with wealth platforms/EDW.
- Familiarity with global best-practice reference architectures.
- Consulting background preferred.

- Deep domain knowledge of securities management business processes and supporting technology landscape.
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills across business, IT, and senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and business-case development capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to produce clear, executive-level deliverables.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus.
