Business Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst (BA) to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technical Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, and collaborating closely with Data Engineers to design and implement effective ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage and communicate effectively with various business stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements related to data processing and reporting.
• Analyze and document detailed functional requirements, ensuring clear communication of business needs.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to translate business requirements into technical ETL designs and solutions.
• Participate in solution design workshops, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
• Validate data solutions to ensure they meet the business requirements and provide accurate reporting.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test cases, coordinating testing activities, and resolving issues.
• Continuously engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements and manage any scope changes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, data flows, and implemented solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data-centric projects, preferably in ETL, data warehousing, or business intelligence domains.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with both business and technical teams.
• Good understanding of ETL concepts and data pipelines.
• Ability to work closely with Data Engineers to convert business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with data modeling, databases, and reporting tools is a plus.
• Experience in Agile development methodology is preferred.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
