Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst (up to Senior Consultant level) to join our team for a major Government project. The ideal candidate is not just a technical analyst but a strategic thinker who shares a strong conviction in the Government's mission to serve the public. You will play a hybrid role, combining deep analytical skills with project management capabilities to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements to develop clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making for a major Government project
- Lead project management activities to ensure timely delivery of solutions aligned with client objectives and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and project plans
- Drive problem-solving initiatives to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies that enhance project outcomes
- Communicate findings and progress effectively to senior leadership and Government representatives to influence project direction and priorities
- Apply strategic thinking to align project deliverables with the Government's mission to serve the public and create measurable impact
- Requirement Management & Analysis: Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of complex business requirements. Ability to switch between the big picture strategic view and deep-dive technical details to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Project Management Support: Leverage strong project management skills to oversee project timelines, track deliverables, and manage resources effectively in a major project environment.
- Stakeholder & User Management: Act as the bridge between technical teams and business users. Manage difficult stakeholders with empathy and professionalism, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- On-site Implementation: Be hands-on and willing to travel to project sites/ground operations to understand user workflows, conduct testing, and support deployment.
- Solution Delivery: Translate business needs into functional specifications and oversee the development lifecycle to ensure high-quality delivery.
- 3. Key Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in Business Analysis and Project Management, specifically in running major/large-scale projects.
- Government/Public Sector Mindset: Strong conviction in the Government's mission. Understanding of public sector processes and a passion for creating value for citizens/users.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze macro-level strategies and micro-level data/workflows simultaneously.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to articulate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Personality: Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable. Willing to go on-site for real-world observations and troubleshooting.
