Job Description

Business Analyst / UAT Tester

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business and functional requirements to design end-to-end testing strategies.

  • Ensure solutions align with continuous improvement initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Develop and execute test scripts across the application lifecycle.

  • Create test scenarios, test plans, and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Document test results, maintain proper records, and prepare UAT status reports/scorecards for stakeholders.

  • Identify, log, and track defects and issues, including clear descriptions, reproduction steps, and business impact.

  • Collaborate with technical teams and operations to resolve issues and drive corrective actions.

  • Monitor testing progress, risks, and dependencies across assigned projects.

  • Communicate test outcomes, risks, and recommendations to business analysts and stakeholders.

  • Prepare user guides and conduct training sessions for end users on new system deployments.

  • Ensure all changes adhere to risk and compliance standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related field.

  • 1-2 years of experience in Business Analysis or UAT (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).

  • Prior experience in insurance operations or processing is an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of business requirements gathering and analysis.

  • Basic project management skills, especially in planning and executing UAT.

  • Familiarity with modern technologies and digital solutions.

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage tasks independently.

  • Strong documentation, listening, and conflict resolution skills.
