Business Analyst

Responsibilities

1. Provide IT operational support primarily for energy trading and risk management systems and associated business applications.
2. Collaborate with business users, vendors, and Azure infrastructure engineers to ensure seamless system operations.
3. Work closely with internal IT teams and external partners on projects, system enhancements, and operational initiatives.
4. Prepare and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports, including monthly service reports, incident documentation, and security log reviews.
5. Engage in IT audits, supporting compliance reviews and evidence collection.
6. Administer and troubleshoot Azure SQL databases, ensuring smooth performance and monitoring.
7. Coordinate with management and vendors to swiftly address and resolve technical issues.
8. Identify and pursue opportunities for system performance and operational process improvements.
9. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination and report on any issues that arise during testing.

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
2. Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Azure and SQL databases.
3. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies such as SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Automate is advantageous.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
5. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
6. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
7. Openness to learning new technologies and business processes.
