Key responsibilities:
Include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, capture their requirements, perform impact analysis, and then working closely with the Development Team(s) to refine the requirements into specifications that can be executed by the team.
- Interpret and understand Regulatory documentation and other related communication received for Project team's benefit.
- Excellent technical and analytical skills; analyze existing capabilities and identify priority gaps and opportunities.
- Documenting business and functional requirements, including filed mappings, process and data flows, business logic and rules, and use cases/ stories and support delivery of projects predominantly in payments domain (ISO20022 and related standards) potentially spanning multiple departments within a single business unit
- Document processes, procedures and workflows associated with applications
- Ensure changes to the application are compliant with bank standards and policies.
- Interpretation and understanding of Regulatory documentation and other related communication received for Project team's benefit.
- Active participation in regular calls and email communication with the Project stakeholders (including Business & Technology teams) and application vendor.
- Active participation in Project's end-to-end process including requirement, development, testing and deployment.
- Leverage his/her experience and understanding of stakeholder needs to help create a solution, envisions the solution to solve a problem (manual or through software)
- Determine the impact of modifications and enhancements to applications and assist with identifying integration points and the end-to-end solution design.
- Facilitate requirement sessions with stakeholders and SMEs to create comprehensive requirement documents by decomposing high-level information into functional requirements, user journeys, epics, features and user stories.
- Provide subject matter expertise within the business/technical domain to support scope and requirement decisions.
- Work with the business stakeholders and other product team members to document and groom product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in an agile development environment.
- Strong knowledge of Agile development and delivery through multi-disciplined Scrum teams; especially knowledge of Product Owner and Scrum Master roles
- Liaises with business partners to build the business requirement documents and coordinate approval and concurrence. Document and review design documents and hold good knowledge on Non-Functional Requirements.
- Able to conduct daily scrum calls, set the priorities and manage backlogs.
- Liaise with global project teams consisting of business sponsors, developers, designers and testers.
- Manage deliverables and priorities with management and business stakeholders.
- Coordinate and conduct testing cycles, acceptance criteria, unit testing, QA and user acceptance testing.
- Support production delivery routines and release weekends.
- Create, maintain and present training materials for end-users.
- Manage multiple projects or single major project.
- Ability to lead diverse technology teams in a distributed organization.
- For vendor applications, work closely with the vendor to ensure changes meet bank requirements including assisting with acceptance testing where needed.
- Detailed-oriented, results-driven, high-energy and motivated. Exhibit a high degree of independence as this position is responsible for thorough, high-quality deliverables utilizing best practices, project management tools, and methodologies to ensure on-time / on-budget delivery, along with optimization of production system availability and stability.
- Works independently, with limited direction, and is evaluated through end results. Initiates and provides leadership, strategic/tactical direction and planning input on all information technology and client/business area issues and in the development of an IT environment which meets current and anticipated business requirements and objectives.
- Participates with IT management in the development of technology products, service standards and development efforts that impact the client/business area. Serves as a single point of contact and the escalation point between the client/business area and internal IT management for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints, and complex service requests.
