Key Responsibilities
- Engage business users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and clarify user needs and operational requirements
- Translate user requirements into clear, structured business and functional requirements for technical and delivery teams
- Support in-house, mission-critical applications with strong focus on stability, availability, and operational impact
- Perform basic SQL queries to validate data, investigate issues, and support functional analysis
- Support user acceptance testing, defect analysis, and solution validation activities
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and support teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Participate in production support activities, including issue analysis and root cause investigation
- Provide standby or after-hours support for critical systems when required
- Maintain accurate documentation including business requirements, process flows, and operational procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across business processes and system usage
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst supporting in-house or enterprise applications
- Proven experience translating user needs into business and functional requirements
- Exposure to business-critical systems, preferably within regulated or high-availability environments
Technical and Functional Skills
- Ability to write and execute basic SQL queries for data validation and analysis
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of application delivery and support lifecycles
