Job Summary

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analysing and formalising user's business requirements and processes, evaluating feasibility of implementation and managing scope of project

What will you do

Requirements Elicitation & Documentation

  • Lead requirements workshops with Telecom Network Business like NOC analysts, Network Engineers, Service Assurance teams, and OSS/IT staff for the identified agents and use cases.
  • Produce comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications for each agent, capturing current-state workflows, pain points, desired outcomes, and non-functional requirements.
  • Maintain a living requirements traceability matrix linking every business requirement to the corresponding agent design decision, test scenario, and acceptance criterion.

Use Case Design & Validation

  • Design detailed use case specifications for identified agents: trigger conditions, actor interactions, happy path flows, alternative flows, and exception handling.
  • Work with the AI Solution Architect to translate business requirements into technical specifications: data field mappings, API payload requirements, output format specifications, and integration sequence inputs.
  • Design and facilitate use case validation sessions with operational SMEs, presenting agent design mockups and workflows for review and sign-off.
  • Define and document the acceptance criteria for each agent from the operational stakeholders perspective.

Qualifications

Essential Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience, with at least 2 years on technology transformation programmes involving significant process change for operational teams.
  • Demonstrable experience conducting requirements elicitation with operational/frontline users — in a 24×7 operational environment.
  • Experience performing data quality assessments and coordinating remediation activities with data owners and engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to produce requirements documentation that is used without ambiguity by engineering teams to build systems
  • Experience facilitating workshops and design reviews with mixed technical and non-technical audiences, managing conflicting viewpoints to documented outcomes.
  • Experience supporting UAT coordination: test scenario design, participant management, defect triage, and acceptance sign-off.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience on an AI, ML, or advanced analytics programme
  • Telco industry experience, particularly in Network Operations, NOC environments, or Service Assurance — familiarity with alarm management, trouble ticketing, and SLA governance.
  • Experience working alongside data scientists or AI engineers as a BA — translating between business intent and model/agent specifications.
  • Experience with ServiceNow as a platform: understanding of the ticket data model, workflow engine, and reporting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with OSS concepts: what NMS and EMS systems do, how alarm data flows, and how provisioning workflows operate in a Telco.
  • Experience on a programme involving both IT delivery and operational change management simultaneously.
