We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our client's team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into effective technology solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring that business needs are accurately captured and delivered, while supporting project success across the full lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements to support solution design and delivery.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and changes in requirements, and manage them effectively.
- Support solution design through visualization, user experience considerations, and configuration inputs.
- Produce high-quality documentation using structured methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Contribute to requirements management and change management processes.
- Support project lifecycle activities, including proposals, feasibility studies, and implementations.
- Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test plans and test cases.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure successful delivery outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Must be a Singaporean due to G50 security clearance requirements by the client.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in client-facing environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering and analysis using structured techniques.
- Ability to break down high-level concepts into detailed requirements and abstract low-level information.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to distinguish between business needs and proposed solutions.
- Experience in requirements prioritization, traceability, and change management.
- Risk identification and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Technical & Specialized Skills
- Experience in developing user manuals and delivering training materials.
- Knowledge of business rules modeling and process documentation.
- Hands-on experience in developing and executing UAT plans and managing testing cycles.
- Experience with integrated testing processes.
Preferred
- Experience in Public Sector projects or implementations.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and delivery environments.
