Job Description

Job Summary

  • We are hiring a Business Analyst with minimum 7 to 10 years of experience working in banking payments operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct impact analysis of SWIFT and ISO20022 regulatory and system changes on regional and branch operations.
  • Plan and manage regional migration strategy in alignment with Head Office direction.
  • Liaise with branches across APAC to communicate project direction, provide guidance, and support UAT and implementation.
  • Monitor and report project progress, risks, and issues to regional and Head Office stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Head Office on system enhancement plans and provide feedback as needed.
  • Support PMO functions, including progress and issue management, depending on project status.
  • Prepare presentations, documentation, and analysis materials using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Must have 7 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking payments operations, transaction banking, or cash management domains.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT message formats (e.g., MT101, MT103) and ISO20022 XML messages (e.g., pain.001, pacs.008).
  • Prior experience working on payment system migration or regulatory change projects.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills for data and system logic review.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for analysis and reporting) and PowerPoint (for presentations and stakeholder communication).
  • Motivated to learn and grow in the payments and banking operations domain.
  • Committed to driving project success with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience managing or coordinating with overseas branches or remote teams, project management experience, including progress tracking, issue management, scope, and change control are a plus.
