Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to lead the rollout of a mobile application in Singapore. This role requires strong expertise in regulatory compliance, mobile security, and stakeholder management across APAC. You will act as the key liaison between business, technology, and compliance teams to ensure the solution meets MAS, HKMA, and group-wide standards while delivering a secure and seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the locally based Business Analyst for the mobile app rollout, ensuring full compliance with MAS, HKMA, and internal governance standards.
- Gather, analyze, and translate regulatory, security, and business requirements into actionable user stories, process flows, and system specifications.
- Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams and external consultants to implement mandatory controls around authentication, session management, logging, and threat detection.
- Define and govern mobile-specific transaction risk treatments, including biometric login, dynamic transaction signing, and fallback mechanisms.
- Address challenges related to alternative app distribution models (e.g., Huawei AppGallery, enterprise sideloading) and non-Google Android ecosystems such as HarmonyOS.
- Work closely with IT, Cybersecurity, and Service Management teams to ensure secure, stable, and user-friendly experiences across diverse devices.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination and facilitate issue resolution with stakeholders across APAC.
- Monitor emerging trends and regulatory signals to keep the mobile platform ahead of compliance curves.
- Support post-launch monitoring, incident review, and continuous improvement cycles for the mobile solution.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services, with exposure to mobile app projects.
- Strong understanding of MAS and HKMA regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS, Android, HarmonyOS) and app distribution models.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-country environment.
