We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support product operations, drive product development, and ensure smooth execution of key initiatives in a fast-paced trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end Product Management: Lead the product lifecycle from concept to launch, monitor performance post-launch, and drive continuous improvements.
- Project Delivery: Actively participate across project stages including requirement gathering, business analysis, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and go-live support.
- Backlog & Prioritisation: Maintain and prioritise the product backlog in alignment with strategic goals, stakeholder needs, and regulatory requirements.
- KPIs & Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess product performance to guide decisions and improvements.
- Documentation & Communication: Produce clear, comprehensive documentation - functional specs, workflows, process maps - and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify project risks and dependencies early propose mitigation strategies and escalate when necessary.
- Operational Support: Manage day-to-day support issues, coordinate fixes, and help plan release cycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Solid understanding of software development and familiarity with web technologies.
- Experience working with Agile teams and backlog management tools.
- Understanding of cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with APIs & Integration Protocols including REST/SOAP, FIX protocol, or similar trading interfaces.
- Knowledge of capital markets regulations (e.g., MAS guidelines, trading, compliance) will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin required.
