Job Description- A successful Business Analyst should have:
- Understanding the BRD and conducting requirement gathering by various means like brainstorming, workshops, Questionnaire and working with different stakeholders of the cash management team like Product Managers (Global as well as In Country), Client Services, Implementation, Operations and Finance.
- Mapping the identified functional requirements to high value and Cross border Payments, preferably Global Pay Plus (GPP) product and any of Immediate Payments (IPS) processing products and defining a solution with the help of it to full fill the payment processing.
- Do Fit-Gap Analysis of the Business Requirements and design solutions to minimize the Gaps and use the product capabilities to address the business requirements.
- Provide Defect Triage analysis of the issue raised by Quality Assurance team.
- Identifying the scope of the requirements, validating the requirements.
- Working with Lead Business Analyst & Technology partner i.e., Solution Architects to agree on the solution.
- Working as a liaison between Business users, operations and Developers.
- Preparing various documents like BRD, FSD and reviewing SIT Test scenarios and Test Cases.
- Working with different stakeholders for product collateral and training needs.
- Overall responsible for ensuring User acceptance testing for all the streams.
- Working with Integration partners and other vendors within bank.
- Identify & resolve issues and manage project risks, supporting different teams, chairing & documenting meetings.
- Working with SIT & UAT Testing Team, reviewing, testing scenarios, test cases and helping developers and testers in clearing their doubts about the requirements etc.
- Supporting the business users for User Acceptance Testing for new payment products and cash management reporting soultions.
- Supporting Operations team / Business Users team to complete the testing.
- Lead Defect Management related actives.
The Successful Applicant
The position requires a minimum of 9 years relevant business analyst experience with banking IT systems (Payment systems and Core Banking applications) and experience of at least one full cycle implementation of High value/Cross Border/Immediate payment platforms for any country or region, preferably in Europe.Functional Skills
- Good functional knowledge on payment platform for domestic (specifically on Immediate Payments) and Cross-border Payments as administrator with strong capability to provide in house solutions via business Configuration.
- Hands on experience on payment systems and exposure to Payments Hub, Clearing and Settlement, Automated clearing house programs and channels.
- Extensive knowledge on various kinds of payment products such as RTGS (Euro1, Target2, CHATS, MEPS+ etc), Cross Border payments with SWIFT interfacing, Domestic Mass Payments & Immediate payments
- Proficient in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Functional & System Integration testing of banking and financial applications

- Highly analytic and detail oriented in approach with Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience converting highly complex information into clear, concise documentation.

Mandatory Skills
- Holding a degree in accounting, finance or IT.
- Excellent knowledge of corporate & investment banking and different financial products including but not limited to Retail Banking, Wholesale & Corporate Banking, Corporate commercial Payments, International & Domestic Payments, Payment Hub/Factory,ACH, Real Time Payments, Cash & Liquidity Management, Compliance/AML,FX, Messaging (Swift and ISO)
- Experience in all phases of the IT system development life cycle like design, implementation, testing, deployment and support.
- Good exposure to software engineering best practices
- Experience working in agile development methodology.
- Hands-on experience with BDD framework and UML (for use case / business case definitions).
- Exposure to test automation frameworks and methodologies to work with Automation testers
- Comfortable working with SQL database queries.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
