About the Role
This role combines business analysis, solution design, and hands-on delivery on low-code platforms - working closely with client stakeholders, product owners, architects, and vendors to translate business needs into secure, scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements
- Lead stakeholder engagement across diverse applications and multi-system integrations to elicit, analyse and document complex business requirements.
- Analyse the client's needs, scope the problem and develop a business case to address it.
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops and progress updates with senior stakeholders to align vision and priorities.
- Document requirements, source and evaluate alternatives, and recommend the solution that best fits the client's needs.
- Work with the client and apps vendor on solution design, seeking clarification and acceptance.
Solution Design & Delivery
- Design, develop and deliver working software applications to delight customers.
- Improve software quality using practices such as process flows, data flows, wireframes, prototyping, user journeys and POCs.
- Prepare architectural and other technical documents.
- Assist the PO on user story elaboration.
- Assist the FM on build and release deployment.
- Work with the client's users to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of new solutions.
Support & Governance
- Assess business needs for service requests and the impact of enhancements to the system.
- Assess problem resolution approaches and implement effective service recovery of ICT incidents, establishing systems and processes to prevent recurrence.
- Understand IT management policy, quality management policy and security guidelines (such as government's IM8 policy) to ensure development processes, procedures and systems comply with these policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with product owners, users, architects, operations teams, cybersecurity stakeholders and other vendors to deliver solutions that are practical, secure and aligned with the client's priorities.
Requirements
Core Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in system solutioning, data structures analysis, and delivering robust applications.
- Solid understanding of product management fundamentals, along with practical experience designing secured applications.
- Hands-on experience leading a team using orchestration on low-code platforms.
- Experience designing and implementing workflow systems, including dynamic case management, system integrations, payment and accounting functions, reporting, batch jobs, authentication flows and external data sources.
- Experience designing cloud applications, with the ability to plan and execute integration with various external systems.
Platform Experience (Advantageous)
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the Tungsten Automation and Decisions application platforms will be a strong advantage, as our main application is built on such platforms. Experience integrating other systems capabilities into platform workflows is particularly valued.
- Hands-on experience delivering at least one full project development life cycle on the above platform(s) will be an added advantage.
Additional Experience
Experience in one or more of the following will be beneficial:
- Agile processes and practices.
- Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) with government's SHIP/HATS.
- Cloud platforms such as AWS or GCC.
- Data migration and document migration.
