Role: Business Analyst (Loans/ Credit Origination)

ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will act as a functional business analyst embedded within the project team, focusing primarily on credit origination and early credit warnings, while actively identifying opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Functional Analysis: Work as a functional business analyst with the project team for credit origination and early credit warnings.

• AI & Innovation: Analyze current processes to identify AI opportunities and ensure AI realization meets project plans.

• Data Exploration: Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.

• Data Modeling & Analytics: Utilize familiarity with associative data modeling, predictive & text analytics, classification, data exploration, and summarization to drive insights.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with business sponsors, project managers, data scientists, and technology partners to realize business needs.

• Governance & Delivery: Review vendor deliverables to ensure governance check and balance. Enforce proper governance before commissioning solutions, specifically transiting Human in the Loop to Human out of the Loop processes.

• Optimization: Identify opportunities for tuning to increase AI accuracy for higher productivity.

• Reporting: Create visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience & Core Competencies

• Industry Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in the financial and banking industry.

• Domain Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of wholesale banking domain knowledge and products (such as customer onboarding & servicing and data mart).

  • Proven experience in credit origination for wholesale banking customers is highly preferred.

• Project Experience: Robust experience working as a Business Analyst (BA) within the banking sector.

Technical Skills

• Solid experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Basic technical hands-on skills including:

  • Web applications and APIs

  • Databases and SQL

  • Data visualization and reporting tools

• Ability to work independently or with limited guidance.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• High teamwork spirit and a positive mindset.
