Job Description
. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Business Analyst to own the end-to-end business analysis function across complex, enterprise-scale initiatives.
. In this role, you will act as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating fragmented inputs into coherent, outcome-driven solution designs.
. You will lead requirements elaboration, validate technical feasibility, and guide junior analysts-all while engaging confidently with senior stakeholders and architecture teams.
. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for a strategic thinker who combines strong technical acumen with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Required Skills
. Leadership & Solution Ownership Proven ability to lead end-to-end business analysis across complex initiatives, owning the full lifecycle-from requirement elicitation and validation to prioritisation and formal sign-off. Able to synthesise fragmented inputs from business, operations, and technical teams into coherent, outcome-driven solution designs. Provides guidance to junior BAs and ensures consistency in analysis standards and deliverables.
. Strong Technical Acumen & Systems Thinking Deep understanding of system architectures, integration patterns, and data flows, with the ability to comprehend requirements down to code-level implications. Comfortable engaging directly with developers and architects on technical trade-offs, performing root cause analysis, and validating solutions across Java, JavaScript, SQL, and AWS-based environments.
. Senior Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Confident in leading client and stakeholder engagements, including senior management and cross-functional teams. Adept at translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise business language. Able to manage expectations, facilitate decision-making, and drive alignment across business, technology, and delivery teams.
Good-to-Have Skills
. Experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, or message-based systems
. Proven track record leading legacy system modernisation or migration initiatives, including ownership of complex Change Requests (CRs)
. Strong facilitation skills in leading client-facing workshops, walkthroughs, and solutioning sessions
. Advanced analytical skills to decompose complex problem spaces into structured, actionable components
. Ability to formulate solution options and recommendations backed by impact, risk, and feasibility analysis
. Continuous improvement mindset-able to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and optimisation opportunities
. Strong collaboration skills to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior analysts
. Ability to produce clear, structured, and decision-oriented functional and technical documentation
. Strong working knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and/or hybrid delivery models
Qualifications & Experience
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field 7+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior capacity
. Proven experience working on large-scale, complex enterprise projects across banking, insurance, government, or technology sectors
. Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models
. Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or SAFe POPM are highly regarded
