RESPONSIBILITIES:
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements using structured methodologies
- Perform as-is / to-be analysis and impact assessments across processes and systems
- Conduct data analysis, cleansing, and standardization to ensure data quality and consistency
- Prepare and maintain requirement documentation and obtain stakeholder sign-offs
- Collaborate with service providers to ensure clear understanding of requirements and solution constraints
Solution Assessment & Validation
- Work closely with Architecture and Technology teams to ensure optimal solution design
- Facilitate workshops to define solution options and functional requirements
- Support development of solution design and functional documentation
- Assist in functional and integration testing (UAT/SIT support)
Change & Implementation Support
- Support change management and communication activities
- Provide implementation support including Query resolution, Troubleshooting, Vendor coordination,and Status reporting
- Contribute to project governance: Risk & issue tracking, Change management, Compliance reporting Act as Business Analyst / Project Manager for smaller initiatives
Project Guardian - Role Focus
- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Front Office, Operations, and Technology teams
- Translate regulatory requirements into practical business use cases and workflows
- Support data mapping, UAT, and scenario testing to ensure business and regulatory alignment
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 5 yrs to 8 yrs Financial Services BA experience (asset management desirable)
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management
- Hands-on experience in data analysis, UAT, and implementation support
- Understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
- Good understanding of Asset Management trade lifecycle
- Good understanding on Asset Management middle office and back-office functions
- Experience in any middle office or back-office system implementations/projects
- Working knowledge of Trade Surveillance, including market abuse monitoring, order/execution
- behaviour, and cross-market surveillance, would be an added advantage
- Working knowledge of E-Communication Surveillance across email, chat, messaging platforms, and
- voice where applicable) would be an added advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Business Analysis certification (CBAP/CCBA or equivalent preferred)
