Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, identifying process improvements, supporting solution delivery, and ensuring successful implementation through testing and user engagement. Experience within the insurance industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review product specifications, functional specifications, and business process documentation to identify system gaps and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with business users and IT teams to analyze requirements and translate business needs into functional solutions.
  • Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions with users and stakeholders.
  • Document business requirements, workflows, use cases, and process maps to support solution design and implementation.
  • Prepare and manage Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), ensuring stakeholder review and sign-off.
  • Assess the feasibility, benefits, risks, and impact of proposed system enhancements and technology solutions.
  • Ensure all changes comply with organizational risk management, governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Define test scope, develop User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, coordinate test execution, and document test results.
  • Work closely with project teams to track defects, resolve issues, and ensure successful deployment.
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and conduct end-user training for newly implemented solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Prior experience within the Insurance industry is highly preferred.
  • Candidates with hands-on experience in insurance operations, policy administration, claims processing, underwriting, or related insurance functions are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams in project or system implementation environments.

  • Strong business analysis and requirements management skills.
  • Experience in preparing business requirement documentation, process mapping, and workflow analysis.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), project delivery methodologies, and testing practices.
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
