Job Summary
Oversee and drive the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery of project goals through detailed planning, stakeholder engagement, quality control, and budget management within IT governance frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with project goals and deliverables
- Develop detailed project plans covering scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation to guide project execution
- Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, including business users, project teams, and external vendors to align expectations
- Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate progress updates to stakeholders
- Manage and resolve stakeholder conflicts and issues promptly to maintain project momentum
- Foster cohesive collaboration and effective team dynamics to enhance project outcomes
- Incorporate user needs and feedback into project deliverables to ensure relevance and quality
- Ensure all project activities comply with IT governance frameworks and standards for risk mitigation
- Implement quality control processes to maintain high standards of project deliverables
- Monitor project budgets and control expenditures within approved limits
- Identify, analyze, and resolve project-related issues and challenges to keep projects on track
- Make informed decisions using data analysis, project requirements, and stakeholder input to optimize outcomes
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management with involvement in full software or product development cycles
- Experience working with Agile Methodology and past development experience
- Strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills demonstrated through project decision-making
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders effectively
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Project Management-related certifications such as CITPM, COMIT, or PMI are advantageous
