Business Analyst (Government & Enterprise Systems)


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a dynamic project team supporting large-scale enterprise and government-related initiatives. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into system solutions while supporting the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering through User Acceptance Testing (UAT).


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business users, stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, system requirements, and solution designs.
  • Conduct requirements elicitation workshops, interviews, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including:
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
  • Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
  • System Requirement Specifications (SRS)
  • Functional Specifications
  • Interface Specifications
  • Process Flows and Use Cases
  • Support solution design, business process analysis, and system integration activities.
  • Analyze the impact of change requests and manage requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with internal teams, external vendors, and third-party system providers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop, execute, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenarios, test cases, defect tracking, and user sign-off activities.
  • Perform data validation and analysis using SQL queries.
  • Conduct API testing and validation using Postman.
  • Support feasibility studies, project implementations, and business process improvements.
  • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies related to business and system requirements.
  • Support project documentation, governance, and change management activities.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on enterprise-scale projects.
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and stakeholder management.
  • Hands-on experience preparing and maintaining project documentation and specifications.
  • Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Strong understanding of system integration and complex business processes.
  • Hands-on SQL experience, preferably with Oracle databases.
  • Experience using SQL for:
  • Data validation
  • Troubleshooting
  • Data analysis
  • Report generation
  • Query development
  • Experience performing API testing using Postman.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and third-party systems.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting Government sector projects.
  • Experience working on large-scale integrated systems.
  • Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL Developer, Visio, or Draw.io.
