Business Analyst - Property Development
We are looking for a highly analytical and business-focused Business Analyst to support our property development operations. This role focuses on market research, financial and sales analysis, feasibility studies, and business process improvement. Experience in the Australian property market is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market & Feasibility Analysis
- Conduct market research on property trends, customer demographics, pricing, and competitor developments within the Australian real estate market.
- Prepare financial feasibility studies for development concepts and cash flow analysis.
- Identify business risks and opportunities based on economic, regulatory, and market conditions.
2. Financial & Business Analysis
- Analyze cost structures, selling prices, and profitability for different projects and product types.
- Support management in developing pricing strategies and sales targets based on local market behaviour.
- Track business performance against forecasts and budgets.
3. Sales Data & Performance Insights
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor sales performance, leads, conversion rates, and inventory movement.
- Provide insights to optimise sales strategies and customer targeting for the Australian market.
4. Process Improvement & Business Support
- Identify inefficiencies across sales, operations, procurement, and internal workflows.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Document business requirements for system enhancements (CRM etc. digital tools).
- Work closely with management, sales, marketing, finance teams.
- Present analysis findings and recommendations to support key business decisions.
- Prepare clear and structured reports for executive leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Experience in real estate development, property sales, or investment analysis.
- Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of property market dynamics, preferably within Australia.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with the Australian residential property market, regulations, and buyer behaviour.
- Experience using any of Business Intelligence tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
