Employment Type: Contract (12 months, renewable)
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the BookingSG platform under GovTech, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of digital services used by the public sector.
You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable and user-centric solutions.
Drive requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation across the product lifecycle (discovery to delivery).
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Perform feature analysis and prioritisation with strong reasoning and system thinking.
Engage and collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.
Facilitate discussions, workshops, and alignment sessions to ensure clarity of requirements.
Manage expectations and provide regular updates on progress and deliverables.
Work closely with engineering teams to define feasible and scalable solutions.
Support end-to-end delivery, including UAT, validation, and release support.
Ensure solutions meet both business and technical requirements.
Partner with UX designers to translate concepts and prototypes into functional requirements.
Ensure alignment between user experience, business goals, and system capabilities.
Maintain project documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Ensure proper tracking of user stories, bugs, and progress throughout the development cycle.
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in digital or government projects.
Proven experience across the full product lifecycle (discovery, requirement gathering, stakeholder management, solutioning, and delivery).
Strong analytical thinking, feature reasoning, and system thinking skills.
Experience working closely with UX/UI designers and product teams.
Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence is preferred.
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
